2026 Spring Season Calendar
Our goal this season is not only to prepare music, but to grow as singers, listeners, and a community.
REHEARSAL LOCATION: St Peter's Lutheran Church: 123 S 7th St, St Clair, MI 48079
CONCERTS: Our concerts are tentatively planned for May 2 and May 3. Details about concert location and guest singers will be announced when available.

Monday, February 9
Singing begins before the first note is sung. Listening, preparation, and intention are already part of the music.
Music pick up day! Come anytime between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM to reconnect, look over the music, and ask any questions you have about our choir.
We will not be singing this week. If you can't make it, please come a few minutes early on February 16 to collect your music.
Monday, February 16
Breath is the beginning of tone. When we breathe together, we sing together.
Warm-Up Focus: Breath connection & vowel unification

Monday, March 2
FIRST SECTIONAL. We'll be breaking out into small groups to practice the songs we've learned so far and iron out any difficulties. This includes California Dreamin', Georgia on My Mind, Kokomo, and Surfin' USA.
Please come prepared by marking any parts in your music that you find difficult during independent practice. If you are willing to help lead sectionals, you can bring any of these tools to help things along:
Have practice tracks available on your phone
Bring a portable Bluetooth speaker
Have a piano app on your phone or bring a pitch pipe to help find particular notes

SPECIAL NOTE: This final "practice" is a relaxed performance for the residents of Mallard's Landing.

Dress code: "Spring casual" -- it is warm inside, so fewer layers may be better!
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early if possible.
Parking is limited. We recommend carpooling.
If you are physically able, please park at the far end of the parking lot and leave the nearer parking for those who need it.
